BERTRAND, EDWARD ORLANDO, age 15 of Christiansburg passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was student at Christiansburg Middle School having just completed the eighth grade.
Survivors include his mother and step-father, Dora Janet Rosales and Rafael F. Garate, one brother, Jorge Luis Rivera and one sister, Jennifer Bertrand. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 11th at Christian Growth Center in Christiansburg with Rev. Doug Martin and Rev. Paul deGastyne officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted at Christian Growth Center, 1850 Electric Way, Christiansburg, VA 24073 to help offset expenses.
