Enoulia Colleen “Annie” Matherly, 63, of Elliston, VA went to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
She was born in Radford, VA on December 14, 1948 to the late George and Julia Garland Furrow.
She was a faithful and loving “Nanny”. She is survived by her son, Lawrence Jackson “L.J.” Matherly and his wife Emily; her cherished grandchildren, Jackson and Lainey; sister, Linda Tinley; Paw Paw Jimmy Tinley; niece, Sandra Tinley; nephew, Charles Garland and his wife Nikki; great nieces and nephews, Brandon Garland, Caleb Mullins, Nate Garland, and Desi Garland; and many special family and friends.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be conducted on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Cambria Pentecostal Holiness Church in Christiansburg, VA with Rev. Jerry Shepherd officiating.
