Ernestine "Tina" Mitchell

Ernestine “Tina” Mitchell, 73 of Montgomery County passed away August 21, 2022. Tina will always be remembered for her smile, her compassion that was continuously shown through her green eyes, her warm embrace, generous heart and was an amazing mother who loved her children unconditionally. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen Quarles Sr. and Mary King Quarles; and a sister, Sissy Reese. She is survived by her husband and soul mate of 40 years, Bob Mitchell; daughters, Tiffany Mitchell and wife, Tay, Jennifer Spady and husband Wayne, Beth Emehizer, and Holly Sadler and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Will Beaver and wife, Arissa, Sierra Beaver, Ariana Beaver, Addison Spady, Ta’mony Cain, and Ty Worrell; great grandchildren, Trevor, Wesson, and Lily; sisters, Carole Ann Morris and Catherine Horton; brother, Owen Quarles, Jr.; adopted sister, Lisa Huffman and husband Dennis; and many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held October 23, 2022 from 2-3:00pm at Horne Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 3:00pm in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel.
