Faye Alderson Nicholson

Faye Alderson Nicholson, 74 of Pearisburg, went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, and ‘Nana’. Faye retired as an English teacher at Narrows High School in 2013. She had a passion for community service, and dedicated many years to various volunteer efforts in the New River Valley. Her contributions to the local Chamber of Commerce, children’s advocacy programs, and the Women’s Resource Center leave a legacy of positive impact on her community that will be felt for many years to come.
Faye was a faithful member of the Evangelistic Holiness Chapel in Pembroke, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Elizabeth Alderson. Faye is survived by her husband, Brad Nicholson; sons, Bret Nicholson, Reid Nicholson; daughters-in-law, Brook Nicholson, April Nicholson; grandchildren, Abbey Nicholson, Baileigh Nicholson, Micah Nicholson, Caroline Nicholson, Blake Nicholson; sister-in-law, Janet C. Nicholson; and brother-in-law, Bart Nicholson.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gary Bayliss and Dr. James Witten for their care of Faye.
