Frances M. Mottesheard

Frances M. Mottesheard age 84, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023, at her home.
The daughter of the late Alexander Merle and Neda Thompson McGuire, she attended Bain Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She retired from Corning Glass and also Harvey’s Chevrolet. She enjoyed crafts and gardening.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Donald E. McGuire. Frances is survived by her two sons, Jeffrey S. Mottesheard and wife, Linda, Phillip M. Mottesheard and wife, Jenny and son, Steven Tolley; sister, Sharon M. Defibaugh and husband, Richard; nephew and nieces, Adam J. Defibaugh, Neda E. Defibaugh, Denise Faustino, and Wendy M. Hodge; great-nephews and great-niece, Grayson P. Hodge, Alan Faustino, Jr., Hayley P. Hodge.
Visitation is Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at 2 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jordan Myers officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
