Francie Alderman Sutphin, 74, of Christiansburg, passed away on Monday, June 21, 2021. She retired from Moog in Blacksburg and enjoyed spending time with her family during her retirement.
Francie was preceded in death by her first husband, Roger Wayne Turner; second husband, Jerry Dean Sutphin; parents, William and Elsie Alderman; brothers, Clayton Alderman and Jimmy Alderman; and sister, Dana Moran.
She is survived by her companion of 24 years, Frank Kruszyna; son, Darrell Turner (Tracie); grandchildren, Cameron Turner, Marissa Cook, Alexis Perdue, Alea Millirons; and great-grandchild, Ember Perdue. Francie also leaves behind her sisters, Gloria Hylton Wanda Nolen (Robbie), Renita Meredith (Mac Lynn); sister-in-law, Gloria Alderman; as well as her nieces and nephews, Tracy Shelton, Amy Bender, Kristy Smith, Sierra Meredith, Tony Huff, Billy Ray Moran, Nick Nolen, Wes Nolen, and Chris Meredith.
The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice and the nurses at Heritage Hall for their compassionate care of Francie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 2, 2021, from 4-5 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home with the Memorial Service to follow at 5 p.m. in the Chapel.
