GLOVER, Frank Harrison, 80 of Shawsville died Monday, August 23, 2010 in the Veteran’s Health Care Center in Salem.
After receiving an Honorable Discharge from the United States Air force, Mr. Glover was employed and retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad after forty years of service.
The son of the late Julian and Ethel Glover he is also preceded in death by his loving wife of thirty six years; Peggy Glover, and his brothers; Robert and James Glover. Mr. Glover is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law; Frank and Lisa Glover, Jr. and Timothy and Amy Glover, his four grandchildren; Adam, Brooke, Noah and Joshua. His brother Eugene Glover also survives him.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 25, 2010 from 5 – 8 p.m. at The Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2 p.m. in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Virgil McHone officiating. Interment will follow in White Cemetery, Shawsville.
