Frank Dale Semones

Frank Dale Semones, 90, of Christiansburg VA, joined his Heavenly Father on April 16, 2025. He was born June 6, 1934 to the late Saford Roy Semones, and Annie Ruth Semones. He was preceded in death by brothers and sister in laws; Jack and Alma Jackson, Latha & Joyce Semones, Jr. (Saford) and Zollie Semones, and Archie and Dorothy Semones , Son in Law Paul Fochler and Grand son Matthew Adam Semones.

Dale is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Vivian Semones, his daughter Darlene Fochler and his son and daughter in law Rev. Terry and Gayle Semones. Grandchildren Paul and Candace Fochler ll, Teri and Joel Goodhart, Great Grandchildren Crosby and Leo Goodhart and Paul lll and Philip Fochler. He is also survived my many loving nieces and nephews.

Dale had a successful career of 42 years with the VA department of transportation, starting as a motor grater operator and retiring in 1991 as an area superintendent. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church which he attended most of his adult life. He had many close relationships with his in laws and friends over the years and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with family and friends.

In lieu of flowers it is requested that contributions be made to the charity or church of your choice in Dale's honor.

Visitation will be Monday, April 21, 2025, from 11 am to noon at Horne funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at noon in the chapel, with Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Christiansburg VA.
