Freddie W. Williams

Freddie W. Williams, 77, of Martinsville, formerly of Shawsville, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015.

Freddie was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Erwin and Margaret Ellen Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Nina Epperly Williams; son, Darrell Williams and wife Judy; daughter, Sharon Williams Edwards; grandchildren, Dillon and Travis Williams, Hannah, William, and Zachary Edwards; sister, Julia Sisson and husband, Clyde; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Freddie worked for Norfolk Southern Railway for 47 years and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

The family would like to thank Kate B. Reynolds with Hospice Home, Winston-Salem, NC for their care of Freddie.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 1 p.m. in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Lance Jenkins officiating. Following the Memorial Service, there will be an hour visitation with the family.
