Fredrick William ‘Freddy’ Grandy, born December 19, 1958, in Cambria, VA, was called in the stillness of the early morning dew on December 23, 2016, at his home with his sister, Katherine, by his side.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Eliza Grandy; and one sister, Patricia Grandy. Freddy leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Albert ‘Tommy’ Grandy, Jr.; six sisters, Roberta (Nathaniel) Nelson, Edna Price, Katherine Thompson, Rosemary (Ricky) Beaver, Faye and Christine Grandy; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Service will be held at the Greater Mt. Zion United Holy Church, Inc. on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 1 p.m., with visitation at 12 p.m.
