MONDAY, FREEDA FOGUS, age 73, of Christiansburg went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 1, 2006.
She was the daughter of the late Henry K. and Madeline B. Fogus. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed by all.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Rev. William ?Bill? Monday of Christiansburg; her children, Sharon Denslow and husband, Gary of Wake Forest, NC; Denise McKee and John Lafferty of Madison, NC; Quentin Montgomery & wife, Dorothy of Kill Devil Hills, NC; Derrick Montgomery & wife Carman of South Boston, VA; Victor Montgomery and wife, Penny of New Bern, NC; William R. Monday of Christiansburg; and ten grandchildren. Also surviving her are her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Donald & Barbara Fogus of Princeton, WV; Gary & Sue Fogus of Evans, GA; Netsy & Rev. Edward Richardson of Wytheville, VA; Henry & Sara Fogus of White Sulphur Springs, WV; Rev. Conald & Geneva Fogus of Natural Bridge, VA; Alice and Willie Knight of Cedartown, GA; Reta & Randy Townley of Bluefield, WV; Rev. Kenneth & Isabelle Fogus of Pulaski, VA; and Stephen & Ethel Fogus of White Sulphur Springs, WV.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 4 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Conald Fogus and Rev. David Goad officiating. A private interment will follow in the Appalachian Pentecostal Holiness Conference Cemetery in Dublin. Those wishing to make
