ROWLAND, GARY LYNN, age 44, of Christiansburg passed away Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the University of Virginia Hospital.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Rowland, Jr.; grandparents, Henry & Ivy Rowland, Sr. and grandfather, Kelly S. Ridpath. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Sue Rowland; mother, Betty Ridpath Rowland; children and spouses, Jennifer & Danny Fitch; Michelle Jones, Colleen Bland, Rhonda & Carl Ford; and Craig Bland; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Timmy & Dawn Rowland; Keith & Kim Rowland; Scott & Erica Rowland; sister and brother-in-law, Krista & Donald Linkous; very special grandmother, Dorothy Ridpath; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 23 at the New Hope Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the New Hope Church of God with Rev. T. Michael Bond officiating. Interment will follow in North Fork Cemetery.
