Gemmia McClaugherty

McCLAUGHERTY, Gemmia Shria, 38 of Christiansburg, “They say the lion shall lay down with the lamb.” On June 17, 2011 our lamb, Gemmia Shria McClaugherty, left this life and is now laying in the arms of the lion of Judah.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers; Martha Spencer, Euna McClaugherty, and her grandfather; John M. McClaugherty.

She is survived by her daughter; Landice Alicia McClaugherty, father and mother; James and Charlotte McClaugherty, brother; Sean McClaugherty, sister and brother-in-law; Crystal and Kevin Bond, niece and nephew; Jada and Logan Bond, grandfather; Garland Henry Spencer, a special friend; William Radcliffe. Gemmia is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and other friends.
The family will receive friends at the Horne Funeral Home from 4 – 6 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2011. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at the Radford Church of God of Prophecy, 6th Street, Radford with Rev. Cecil Frazier and Rev. Bruce Gregory officiating. Interment will follow in Den Hill Cemetery, Christiansburg.
