Geneva Gay Hall Woolwine

Geneva Hall Woolwine, 100, of Blacksburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Born on December 8, 1914, in Montgomery County, VA, to the late Mathew and Gillie Hall, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Woolwine; sons, Earl, Edward, and Harold Lee Woolwine; grandchildren, Sharon Thompson, Michael Thompson, Bonnie Thompson, and Billy Godbey.

Geneva is survived by her children, Wayne and Dorothy Woolwine, Reba and Carl Godbey, Louise and Jim Flinchum; grandchildren, Jerry and Karen Godbey, Jane Jewel, Steve and Kathy Thompson, and David Thompson.

Geneva was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend to everyone.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 29, 2015, from 12-1 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. in the Chapel, with Rev. Steve and MarLou Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
