Genevieve “Jennie” Helen Todd Roberts

Genevieve “Jennie” Helen Todd Roberts passed away peacefully on January 25, 2025 at the age of 88. She was born on May 31, 1936 at Dover General Hospital, Dover, NJ, to Mary (Cresmonoski) and Frank Stanich. Jennie grew up in Mount Arlington, NJ and lived in Wharton and Morris Plains, NJ for many years prior to moving to Wilmington, NC in 1986. She was an avid reader with her favorites being British mysteries, a Master Gardener, and a lover of the TV show NCIS. In 2020, Jennie relocated to English Meadows Senior Living, Blacksburg, VA where she was residing at the time of her death.

Jennie was predeceased by her husband, William Roberts (2017), her parents Mary and Frank Stanich, and her sister Josephine Stanich (2014).

She is survived by her son Mark (Jane) Todd, Blacksburg, VA, her daughter Kathleen Todd, Oxford, NJ, and her sister, Cecelia Doyle, Budd Lake, NJ. Jennie was a grandmother to Jessica (Scott) Cramblitt, Charlotte, NC; Michelle (Eric) Stehle, Midlothian, VA; and Marissa (Kyle) Barto, Belvidere, NJ. She was also a great grandmother to Nick and Ben Cramblitt, Charlie and Sydney Stehle, and Iyla Barto. Jennie also had many nieces, nephews and other loved ones both alive and deceased.

A celebration of life will be held with her family at a later date.
