George Edward Berry, 66, of Christiansburg, passed away on December 8, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. Berry and Edith Marie Cox Berry; his wife, Frances Shumaker Berry; and two brothers, David Berry and Charles Berry. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Pettry (Johnny) of Jumping Branch, WV, Shawnee Woolwine of Christiansburg, and Cynthia Bowman (Larry) of Christiansburg; sons, Thomas Berry of Fries, VA, and James (Mandy) Berry of Christiansburg; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Eva Smith, Sandra Quesenberry, Brenda Ball, and Debra Turpin; as well as two special friends, Pamela Nester and Angel Bryan.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. There will be a private interment at a later date.
