Georgia E Cox

GEORGIA E. COX, of Christiansburg, passed away on December 14, 2018. She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Georgia was a graduate of Radford University and held many titles with Montgomery County Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer C. Cox and a sister, Kate King. Georgia is survived by a step son, Michael P. Cox; sisters, LZ Wimmer and Jane McKee; a brother, Daniel ‘Bud’ Epperly; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 18 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Montgomery County Humane Society, St. Paul United Methodist Church or Huffville United Methodist Church.
