REYNOLDS, GLADYS MAE, 99, of Christiansburg, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005.
She was the daughter of the late William Oscar and Melissa Huffman Reynolds. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Reynolds.
Gladys was a faithful and active member of the Edgemont Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) for 59 years, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years. She was retired from Blue Ridge Overall Factory (Imperial Reading) where she was a floor lady.
She leaves to cherish her memory her niece, Nell Ross and several other nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Josephine Matthews of Buchanan; two special friends and neighbors, Bill and June Chrisman and Chris Yopp, and many other friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005. The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Christopher Yopp officiating. Interment will follow in the Ross Cemetery in Craig County, VA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Edgemont Christian Church, 2289 Edgemont Road; Christiansburg, VA 24073.
