Gwendolyn Rose Duncan Ward, 80, of Christiansburg, VA, and formerly of Floyd, VA, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at the Kroontje Health Care Center.
Gwen was born in Waycross, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold G. Ward. She is survived by her children, William H. Ward, Angela W. Baldyga, and Rebecca W. Miller; and 10 grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, P O Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038 or to the Warm Hearth Foundation, Neighbors in Need, 2607 Warm Hearth Drive Suite 100, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
