Haddie Lauren Slusher, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012. She was born just 15 days earlier on March 22, 2012. Brave and feisty Haddie gave us a lifetime of love in her short time on earth.
She was the daughter of Tiffany & Chris Slusher of Riner. She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Brad & Cheryl Smith of Sinks Grove, WV; uncle, Kellen Smith of Charlottesville, Va; uncle and aunt, Chris & Aracoma Smith of Fredericksburg, Va and cousins, Kendal and Byram. She is also survived by her paternal grandparents, Dusty & Pat Slusher of Salem, Va; uncle and aunt, Mike & Carlin Slusher of Raleigh, NC and cousin Vance Slusher. She is also survived by her paternal great grandparents Eugene & Kathryn Vance of Princeton, WV and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers we would be honored to have you support the Ronald McDonald House in Haddie's name at 3925 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104( www.philarhm.org ) as they supported us in our time of need.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 2 p.m. in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel in Christiansburg,with Pastor Susan Sisk officiating. A celebration of Haddie's life will follow at the Slusher's home located at 280 Smith Creek Road, Riner, VA.
