Haley Elizabeth Hawthorne

It is with profound sadness that the family of Haley Elizabeth Hawthorne announce her sudden passing on July 24, 2022 at the age of 30 years old.
She is now at peace, joining her Mamaw Eleanor “Louise” Hawthorne, her Papaw Ward “Mac” Hawthorne, as well as her uncles Jim Hawthorne and Tim Reynolds.
Her memory will live on through her children, Levi East and Aiden Hawthorne; mother Victoria “Vickie” Sizemore and father Herschel “Lee” Sizemore; siblings Patrick Hunter and wife Anita, Drew Sizemore and wife Savannah, Michael Sizemore and wife Bri, and Garrett Carter; grandparents Joyce and Herschel Sizemore; aunts and uncles Sandra Joines, Linda and Jerry Fuller, Pam Reynolds, Charlotte and Mike Bishop, and Tamba and Ralph Agee; cousins and lifelong best friends, who were more like sisters, Wendy Joines and Destiny Martin, as well as nieces, nephews, and other numerous cousins.
A special thank you to Wendy and Destiny for always believing in her, being there for her and supporting her in every way. In life and now in death. She would have never reached the level of success this past month without your encouragement and love. We'd also like to thank Sandy Jones for helping to raise her.
Haley leaves an enormous hole in the hearts of her family and friends who were always entertained by her stories and hilarious sense of humor. Her laughter and free spirit would light up a room and it was impossible to be sad in her presence. She had a passion for photography, enjoyed listening to music, and was most at peace being in nature. Haley loved her children fiercely and took every opportunity to spend time with them. She loved her family so very much and would do anything she could for them. She made a lasting impression on everyone that she met with her positive attitude and outlook on life. God broke the mold when he made her. Haley will never be forgotten, but forever remembered and missed by all who were fortunate enough to have met her.
Thanks to the loving support of all her friends and family we will gather to honor her memory on Sunday, August 7th, 2022 at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, VA. Visitation will be from 3 to 5PM with the service immediately following at 5PM, with Pastor Mike Johnston officiating.
