CHERRY, HAROLD M., AGE 82 of Christiansburg went to be with his Heavenly Father on June 9, 2004. He was a retired Deputy Sheriff of Montgomery County. He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Ruby L. Cherry.
Left to honor his memory are his daughters, JoAnne Piper of Salem and Carolyn Cherry of Christiansburg, three grandchildren; Linda R. Barlow, Jack H. Ray, Jr., Dawn Cherry and seven great grandchildren; Ashley, Justin, Chase, Jack III, Casey, Walker, Tanner; brother, Paul Cherry; sister, Anna Mae Bell, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 12th at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Hurd officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
