Harold Ray Hatcher

Harold Ray Hatcher, 69, of Wytheville passed away March 3, 2020 at Wytheville Community Hospital.
He was a very loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He never stopped making everyone around him smile with his amazing humor. He had a great love for making things, anything with wheels and fishing. Family was the biggest part of his life. He was devoted to his wife every waking hour of every day. Every story, memory will be cherished and shared with many friends and loved ones.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Quenton and Dorothy Hatcher and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife, May Bell Hatcher; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy & Eddie Hughes and Ginger & Chrys Harden; grandsons, Jacob Hatcher, Ian Williams, and Tim Williams, Jr. and wife, Sierra; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Allison; a brother, Carl Hatcher; a sister, Barbara Hatcher; and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 5 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery.
