Harry H. Stanger, 84, of Christiansburg, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was retired from the Virginia Tech Postal Service.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Doris; as well as five brothers; and three sisters. Harry is survived by his sisters-in-law, Betty Stanger, Mida Stanger, Mabel Stanger, Lois Stanger, Barbara Linkous; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Marshall and Vicki Linkous; 17 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews; as well as 15 great-great-nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 10-11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. in the Chapel, with Pastor Gary McCoy officiating. Interment will follow in Belmont Cemetery, Christiansburg.
