LINKOUS, HAVEN THURMAN, 78, of Merrimac, VA, went home to be with the Lord on April 3, 2011.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Marie Linkous.
He is survived by his son, Phillip Linkous, Sr., of Cedar Bluff, VA; grandchildren, Tabatha & William Dudding, Samantha & Mike Kendrick, Phillip Linkous, Jr., Matthew Linkous, Jessica & Travis Tuck, Isaac Linkous, and Luke & Amanda Linkous; 11 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Kevin & Sandra Snyder.
The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, April 5, 2011, from 6-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 2 pm at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Jerry Sloss officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
