Helen Early Poff

Helen Early Poff 93, of Elliston born May 11, 1930 passed away Friday, June 2, 2023. She was a patient at Heritage Hall Nursing Home, Blacksburg, VA.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Roscoe J. Early and Lillian K. Early; and her brother, Stanley Early.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Kenneth East and friend Drema; daughter, Freda Trent and husband Johnny all of Elliston; two brothers, John Early and wife Linda of Salem, Robert Early and wife Jackie of Roanoke; three sisters, Reba Dudley, Geraldine Ratcliff, Eunice Dudley and husband Wilfred all of Christiansburg; special friend, Jane Lovell of Elliston; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Helen was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by everyone.
Graveside Service is Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Sessler Cemetery, Elliston. If you wish to follow in procession to the cemetery, please meet at Horne Funeral Home by 1:40 p.m.
