BURTON, HENRY (TOM), age 86, of Christiansburg, went to be with his Lord Sunday, July 17, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. W. H. (Jessie) Burton and one sister, Mary Ellis, all of Richmond. Tom is survived by his wife, Virginia H. Burton; daughter and son-in-law, Dana & Sam Cox and three grandsons, Jason, Thomas and Crisley Cox all of Christiansburg.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at Sunset Cemetery with Dr. Tom Harvey officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Squad, P. O. Box 176; Christiansburg, VA 24073. The Burton Family is being served by Horne Funeral Service, Christiansburg, (382-2612).
