Herman Denton

Herman E. (Buddy) Denton, 89, of Christiansburg, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at Radford Nursing & Rehab.

He was preceded in death by one son, David L. Denton; parents, Charlie E. & Rosa Denton of Lynchburg; and brothers, Junior Lee Denton and Wilbert Denton.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Janie W. Denton; son Willard E. Denton, both of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Chris (Lori) Denton of Richmond, Stacey (Matthew) Sutphin of Snowville, David Mark (Kelly) Denton of Front Royal, and Roger & Nancy Beasley of Hillsville; great-grandchildren, Sydni Denton, Taylor Sutphin, David Denton, Dakota Denton and Dustin Denton; and a sister, Helen Hartless.

The family will have a graveside service on Friday, November 9, 2012, at 11 am at Sunset Cemetery, with Pastor Neal Woods officiating. The family would like to thank Radford Nursing & Rehab and special friends, Nicole Solano, Austin Hughes, Marie Southern, and Leo & Claire Southern.
