Jacquelyn L. 'Jakki' Oliver

Jacquelyn L. ‘Jakki’ Oliver, 27, of Blacksburg, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017.

Jakki is survived by her partner, Kailyn Reis; parents, Michael and Danette Hicklin; step-child, Lucas Reis; siblings, Matthew Hicklin and wife Sindy, Rachel Merkle and husband Doug, Amberly Oliver and husband Mat Hunter, Meggin Hicklin; niece and nephew, Anna Handy and Caleb Merkle; aunt and uncle, Danielle Murphy, John Murphy; and cousin, Joe Murphy.

Jakki was one who always did things her way. She was a champion for the underdog and, until the end of her short life, was concerned about the well-being of her family members. She was immediately liked and loved by all who met and came to know her. Jakki made her mark in this world and will likely do the same in her new world.
The family will have a Celebration of Life for Jakki on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Horne Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery, Blacksburg.
