FRIDLEY, Jake Henry, 93 of Elliston went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 27, 2009.
He is survived by his nephews and spouses; Martin and Robin Fridley of Eagle Rock, VA, Joe and April Fridley of Salem, VA, Bud and Becky Shinault of Wytheville, VA, nieces and their spouses; Susan and Joe Weiner of Salem, Sandy and Rob Newcomb of Buchanan, VA, Sharon and Bob Heintz of Ohio. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
The family will receive friends at The Horne Funeral Home, Thursday, January 29, 2009 from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held in The Horne Funeral Home Chapel 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2009 with Pastor Kenneth Gray officiating. Interment will follow in Monte Vista Cemetery, in Bluefield, West Virginia.
Flowers will be appreciated but those wishing to make memorial contributions pleased consider Big Spring Baptist Church, 6065 North Fork Road, Elliston, Virginia 24087.
