Harvey, James “Jim” Corbin , 58, of Blue Ridge, passed away September 6, 2010. He was born to the late Horace Harvey, Sr. and Lillie Harvey. Mr. Harvey was preceded in death by his brother, Horace Harvey, Jr. and father-in-law, Edward J. Trump, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy T. Harvey; sons, Aaron J. Harvey, of Blue Ridge, and Paul L. Vaught, of Pilot; brothers, Charlie Harvey (Flora), William Harvey (Charlotte), and John T. Harvey, all of Roanoke; sisters, Jean Moore (George), of Roanoke, and Lois Waldram, of Grafton; mother-in-law, Jean M. Trump, of Christiansburg; brothers and sister-in-law, Edward J. Trump, Jr. (Paulette), Debbie Akers (Terry), Shelby Main (Donald), and Jerry Trump (Sue); numerous nephews and nieces; and special friends, Monte Wood, Fincastle, and Mike Orange, Thaxton.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Horne Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9 in the Horne Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Neal Turner and Pastor Mike Vest officiating. Interment to follow in Sunset Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the American Cancer Society, 2840 Electric Rd., Suite 106A, Roanoke, VA 24018.
