James Everett Moran III

James Everett Moran III, 64 passed away Sunday, May 2, at his home in Fairlawn with his loving wife by his side. He was born March 5, 1957 in Pennsylvania. James was a long-time employee of Adams Construction. After retirement he worked for a short time for Radford Transit. He enjoyed working with tools in his work shop and driving his orange Dodge Ram. James loved his special lap loving four-legged friend, Daisy Mae.

He is preceded in death by his dad, James Everett Moran II. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruth Altizer Moran; step-son, Mark Light (Angie Jewell); his mother, Bettie Moran; sister, Rhonda Bishton (Tim); brothers, Randy (Carrie) Moran, and Stewart (Monica) Moran; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, May 5, from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. at Horne Funeral Home.

Funeral services will follow in the chapel with Pastor David Vance officiating. Interment will be private.
