Janet G. Minton

Janet Grogan Minton of Christiansburg, Va., went to heaven on Sunday, July 24, 2016.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Ross Minton; daughter, Heather Minton Southard; son-in-law, Jonathan Southard; and grandson, Seth Southard. She is also survived by her mother, Dorothy A. Grogan; sister, Nancy Beach; beloved in-laws, Joe and Gaye Goodall; several aunts, an uncle, nephews, nieces, and cousins; and many wonderful friends and neighbors.
She was a woman of faith who loved her Lord. She was preceded in death by father, Otis B. Grogan; and beloved mother-in-law, Mary Dowdy Minton; and father-in-law, Archer Ross Minton, Jr.

Pastors Michael and Deborah Barnard will be officiating at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, at Horne Funeral Home in Christiansburg, Va. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Service.
