Janet Williams Tabor

Janet Williams Tabor, 82, of 201 Wheatland Court, Christiansburg VA, departed this life Friday morning, July 12, 2024. Born in Montgomery County on July 30, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Mr. Billy Lee Williams and Ruby Roop Williams. Janet worked for Burlington Factories for 30 Years and completed her working career as administrative support for the United Methodist Church of Blacksburg. She was a lifelong member of Sydney Church in Riner VA. Janet was laid to rest in Sun Set Cemetery in Christiansburg. 

Janet was a woman of faith and found great joy in supporting her church and its ministries. She also had great compassion for those in need and volunteered much of her time to help others. Janet enjoyed photography, gardening, travel, camping and time spent outdoors. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years Lawrence Clayton Tabor. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother Carl Williams. She is survived by her nephew Donnie Williams.
