Janis Wilson LaForce

Janis Wilson LaForce, 67, of Christiansburg, went to her heavenly Home on Sunday, October 11, 2015.

Janis was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Mary Wilson. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Larry William Haulman; sons, Tucker LaForce and wife Jody and Tommy LaForce; grandchildren, Faith, Parker, and Millie LaForce; sister, Alice and Dan Wilson; niece, Shannon Wilson; as well as other extended family and friends.

Janis was an active member of the Fairlawn Church of God, where she sang in the choir. Her heart was with many of their outreach programs, including the Women’s Ministry and Celebrate Recovery. She lived her life unto God; her faith was reflected in her whole life. She was a witness and a shining example to all who knew her. Words cannot express how much she will be missed.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at Fairlawn Church of God, with the Funeral Service to follow at 7 p.m. Tucker LaForce and Pastor Marcus Harrison will officiate. The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Highland Memory Gardens, Dublin.
