Jennifer Thompson Price

Jennifer Thompson Price made her journey from earth to Heaven on July 27, 2021. She is cancer free and in the arms of Jesus. She was born May 16, 1973 in Marion, VA. Her beautiful smile drew everyone to her and her funny, mischievous personality made a gloomy day bright. Her sweet tender and loving heart touched so many lives. She will be forever missed and loved.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Kenneth Thompson; her paternal grandmother, Rose Morton Thompson; her maternal grandfather, Napolean Bolling; her maternal grandmother, Nona Bolling Casada; and her brother, Jerry Michael Thompson.
Jennifer is survived by her husband and wonderful caregiver, Matthew Price of Christiansburg; her mother, Betty Martin of Christiansburg; her son, Seth Hackney (Hailey Leighton) of Elliston; her daughter, Anna Hackney (Tanner Brown) of Christiansburg; her step-daughter, Amanda Tabor (Thomas Tabor) of Dublin; her step-son, Chuck Price of Bassett; her sisters, Jodi Price, Renee Schack, Christy Dillon all of Christiansburg, and Ginger McGuinness of Sacramento, CA; her brother, Jamie Thompson of Kingsport, TN; her niece, Sydney Price of Christiansburg; she was ‘Lolly’ to granddaughter, Ava Layne Tabor; and her special friend, Lisa Surface Shark of Riner. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as friends to cherish her memory.
A Graveside Service with Rev. Lanny Belcher will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm. There will be a procession from Horne Funeral Home to Roselawn Memorial Gardens, everyone that wants to participate in the funeral procession is asked to be at Horne Funeral Home at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, August 4.
