HALL, JERRY EMMETT ?CATFISH?, age 55, of Shawsville, VA died Friday, April 22, 2005, from injuries received in a truck accident. He was an employee of Valley Rich.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Marie Jennings Hall. Surviving are his wife, Cynthia Hall; sons, Jerry Emmett Hall, Jr, Elizabeth City, NC, Jeremy Evan Hall, Jacob Everett Hall and Jonathan Edward Hall all of Shawsville; his father, Emmett Hall, Salem; step-mothers, Frieda Underwood Hall, Elliston, Sylvia Hall; brothers, Dennis Hall and wife, Susie; Salem, Danny Hall and wife, Tara, Roanoke, Eric L. Hall, Shawsville; sisters, Betty DeHart Thomas and husband, Eric, Salem, Nellie Hall Prater and husband, Ronnie Elliston; grandchildren, Dallas Matthew Hall and Kameron Lee Hall; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Juan and Amparo Tagle, Pharr, TX; brothers-in-law and their spouses, Juan Tagle and Pam Prouse, Pharr, TX, Javier Tagle and Karen Spradlin, Moneta, James and Andrea Tagle, Roanoke; sisters-in-law and their spouses, Rosemary and Carlos Avila, McAllen, TX, Sylvia and Jim Thompson, Elliston; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The family would also like to extend a special thank you to family, friends and Valley Rich for all their support.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 Sunday, April 24, at the Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 25, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Chisom officiating.
