Jerry Lee Holdren, Jr., 39, of Radford, VA passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009. He was preceded in death by grandfathers, George S. Holdren and William E. Lloyd; and a grandmother Isabella Lloyd Hawkins. He enjoyed fishing at the sand docks.
He is survived by his parents: Jerry Lee and Lydia Elizabeth Holdren; sister, Beverly L. Harris and fiance’ Gregory Francisco; brother, Brian E. Holdren; niece, Tessa Harris; nephews: Tyler Harris, William Holdren, Thomas Holdren, and Brandon Unger; grandmother, Agnes C. Holdren; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends: Randy Robins, Robert and Donna Margin, Susan and Jennifer Cooper, and Becki Holdren.
A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 1, 2009 at 2:00 pm at New Horizon Church, 1014 Tyler Avenue, Radford, VA with Pastor Rich Palmer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, 4502 Starkey Road, Suite 2, Roanoke, VA 24014.
