Jessie Musselman

Jessie Jackson Jackson, 95 years old, of Ferrum, VA, formerly of Christiansburg, went to be with his heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 10, 2012.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Maudie Musselman; father Kyle Musselman; wife, Mary Musselman; son, Walter Musselman; 1 brother; 2 sisters.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Willie Musselman & wife, Betty; daughter, Edna (Edie) Robertson & husband, Wesley; daughter-in-law, Thelma Musselman; 3 grandchildren, Darrell & wife, Missy Musselman, Ron Sarver and Dorothy Hall; 3 step-grandchildren; 2 special great-grandchildren, Jordan and Lexie Musselman; 4 total great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Gills, Mildred Barnett, Thelma Gilmore, Myrtle Linkous & husband, Earl; brother & sister-in-law, Charlie & Biddie Wheeling; special extended family, Deb, Larry, Carolyn, Virginia, Buddy, Pam, Larry, and Angela.

Special thanks to the Palliative Care Unit at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Dr. Robert Strong, and caregiver, Mildred Dalton.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2012, from 5-8 pm at the Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 2 pm at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Ed Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
