Joanne Huffman

Nancy Joanne Huffman, 73 of Christiansburg, passed away on November 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cline and Zelva Mitchell Barker; brother, Michael Barker; sister, Linda Grubb.
Joanne is survived by her husband, Donald Arthur Huffman; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Anne and George William White III; sister, Joyce Barker Brown; sister-in-law, Betty Barker; nephews, Roger Smith, Jr. (Kristy), Jason Smith, Kevin Keith, Michael Barker; niece, Michelle Kingrea (David); as well as a host of other family and friends.
Joanne worked at Duncan Honda for many years and was an avid Virginia Tech Hokie fan. She’d travel to every away game. She liked to travel, especially on cruises, and enjoyed cross stitch and word search puzzles.
The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Hall and Kindred Hospice – you were all amazing.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 11 a.m. to noon at Horne Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at noon in the Chapel with Rev. Michael Hill officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
