BANE, JOHN MICHAEL, age 59, of Christiansburg passed away suddenly Wednesday, December 3, 2008. He was an employee of the Volvo Truck Plant in Dublin, VA.
The son of the late Carl and Agnes B. Bane he is survived by his wife, Diana L. Bane; sons, Joey M. Bane, Shawn M. Bane; a daughter, Misty G. Vest, all of Christiansburg; grandson, Michael J. Bane, Dublin; sisters, Shelby Brogan, Tennessee, Reba Blevins, Riner, Barbara Giles, Christiansburg; brothers, Lewis Bane, Parrott, Jerry Bane, Florida and Charlie Bane, Tazewell, VA; a sister-in-law, Faye Sorah; brother-in-law, Buddy Hinkley; special friends, Jenny Fisher, Kenny and Linda Vanhover.
The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7th at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8th in the Horne Funeral Chapel with Pastor Wayne Poston officiating.
Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens.
