John Kerley Duncan of Floyd, left this world to enter his Heavenly Home on Monday, September 18, 2017. He was born on November 13, 1937. He was preceded in death by his father, James E. Duncan; mother, Lera A. Duncan; brothers, Arnold Duncan, Fred Duncan, Wesley Duncan; sisters, Martha Radford, Vera Saul; and sons, Clayton Eugene Duncan and Michael Gregory Duncan.

John is survived by his wife of 54 years, Agnes H. Duncan; children, John James Duncan (Karen) of Bent Mountain, Sabrina Michelle Whitlock (Daniel) of Floyd, Christian Lee Duncan of Floyd, Marcia Kay Duncan, of Floyd; grandchildren, Kristina Marie Duncan, Daniel Ethan Whitlock (Jennifer), Jacqueline Dawn Duncan, Waylon Dakotah Whitlock, Elizabeth Michelle Duncan, Brandy Nichole Duncan; great-grandchildren, Kathryn Alexis Hamblin, Kieth James Hamblin, Victor Curtis Andrews, Aurora Jane Halsey; brothers and sisters, Curtis Duncan (Lillian), Kenneth Duncan (Ann), Hazel Smallwood, Joyce Underwood (Garfield), Peggy Duncan, Verna Pringle (Tom); as well as a special nephew, Mike Smallwood.

A private Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017, in Wilson Cemetery, Floyd.
