JOHN ROBERT RICHARDSON of Christiansburg departed his Earthly home for his eternal home on March 13, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, John W. & Patty Richardson; brothers, Danny W. Richardson & William “Bo” Richardson.
He is survived by his wife, Donna A. Richardson; sister, Mary & Jessie Harmon; brothers, Jeffrey Ward & Terri Richardson, Jimmy & Rhonda Richardson, Thomas “Butch” & Ella Richardson; mother-in-law, Helen N. Altizer; brothers-in-law, Jim & Martha Altizer and Richard & Deneise Altizer; a multitude of nieces and nephews.
Thanks to the follwing people: Carillion hospital who have shown their love for John in so many ways, he said there is no finer hospital in the state; Dr. Lambert & staff, many friends from his 12 years in the Navy; his wife’s family for all their gifts and care throughout the years; Christiansburg Rescue Squad, who know us on a 1st name basis; Beth Landreth, a special lady who meant so much and made our lives so much better; and Christiansburg Church of the Brethern, our lifeline. Everyone he met become his friend.
We ask in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Christiansburg Rescue Spuad.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
