John David Webster, 64, of Elliston, VA, went home to be with the Lord on July 20, 2011.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Thrash Webster & Ida Mae Vaden Webster; and his mother-in-law, Ora Mae Arnold.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Webster; sons, David Webster & wife, Heather, Michael Webster & wife, Deborah, all of Elliston; brother, Wayne Webster & wife, Dianne of Arlington; sister-in-law, Wanda Wilkerson & husband, Jeff of Elliston; brother-in-law, L. E. Arnold of Elliston; sister-in-law, Brenda Edwards of Elliston; grandchildren, Ashley, Whitney, Megan, Jordan, Brooke, Haley, Lance, and Gabby; and step-mom, Fannie Mae Webster.
David first worked at Tom’s, then worked at Koppers in Salem for 25 years. He also served his country in the United States Army.
He was a member of Moore’s Chapel Baptist Church in Elliston. He loved his grandchildren and family. He is loved by us and will never be forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 22, 2011, from 5-8 pm at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 1 pm at the Horne Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Eddie Booth officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg.
