Johnny Ray Morris

Johnny Ray Morris, age 68 of Elliston, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on September 15, 1953.

Johnny retired from the Town of Blacksburg after many years of dedicated employment and enjoyed time at the beach. He was a proud grandfather of 6 and loved spending time with his family.

Johnny was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Morris. He is survived by his mother, Margie Morris, who devoted herself to his care for the last 10 years; sons, T.J. Morris and wife Leslie, Casey Morris and wife Samatha; grandchildren, Lucien Tazewell, Oliver Graham, Abigayle Elizabeth, Ellis James, Ruby Elyse and Dakota Spradlin; great-grandchild, Kalyn Quesinberry; brother, Billy Morris; nephew, Andrew Morris; as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm at Beaver Creek Church of the Brethren in Floyd, VA on Saturday, April 2, 2022. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:30pm.
