BLEVINS, JOSHUA SETH, age 19, of Floyd passed away Tuesday night, August 3, 2010 from injuries received in an auto accident.
A wonderful son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend he was loved and will be missed by all. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Boyd and Jeanette Hinkley. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother and step-father, Kimberly and Calvin Lovern; a sister, Whitney Blevins all of Floyd; step-sister, Felicia Lovern, Floyd; A very special niece and nephew, Wyatt Hylton, Mollie Blevins, both of Floyd; several aunts, uncles and cousins including a very special uncle & aunt, Roger & Janet Bishop, Christiansburg; two special friends who were like brothers, Garrett Martin and Brandon Helms, Floyd.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1pm until 3pm and 5pm until 8pm at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Horne Funeral Chapel with Pastor Gregory Poff officiating. Interment will follow in the Piedmont Cemetery, Shawsville, VA. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the family to help offset expenses.
