Judith Kay Loveday, 75, of Riner, Va., passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, surrounded by her husband of 55 years, Allan Wayne Loveday, and her children. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Irvin and Wenona Gardner; a brother, Wayne Gardner; and son, Daniel Loveday.
Judith developed a deep rooted love and steadfast faith which never faltered throughout her life. In life Judith loved the outdoors, she loved to cook for her family, she loved to paint and to do crochet; now she can once again do all those things that she loved.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne; her sons and their spouses, Timothy Loveday and wife Brighton, Benjamin Loveday and wife Laura, and daughter, Melissa Loveday; her seven grandchildren, Alesha Sharp, Elizabeth Thornton, Justin Loveday, Sarah Loveday, Robert Loveday, Tarran Loveday, and Hazel Loveday; and two great-grandchildren. Judith is also survived by two siblings, David Gardner and wife Judy, and Gayle Gardner.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Horne Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow in the Chapel, with Rev. Knox Wimberly officiating. Judith will be interred in the Gardner Family Cemetery, Dugspur, Va., in a private family service at a later date.
