Kagen Scott Fisher

June 29, 1995 — October 10, 2020

Kagen Scott Fisher was born on June 29, 1995 to Charles “Wally” Smith and Cindy Fisher Foley. At just the age of 25, Kagen was taken way too soon; however, his good-heartedness, infectious laugh, and dimpled smile impacted everyone that knew him. Kagen loved an adventure and the “wow” effect, so much so, that at times we had to remind him to turn on his filter. As a friend eloquently put it, “Kagen was either making someone laugh or on someone’s last nerve.”

Kagen had a huge heart and extended kindness to many. He was a hard worker and a loyal friend; however, the center of his world was his son, KJ. Kagen was an involved and ever-present dad, instilling his love for fishing, 4-wheeling and tinkering in his young son.

Growing up, Kagen shared many mischievous adventures with his brother, Ryan, and cousin, India. They shared a special bond that began the moment Kagen was born. This tightly woven trio always kept his mother, Cindy, and their Nana and Poppy on their toes with all their crazy antics.

The relationship shared between Kagen and his brother, Ryan, was one that was closely knit. They laughed together, supported one another, and like all brothers argued and fought. However, what made it distinctly stand out was the ferocity of their love and their mutual understanding of each other. They were connected not only by blood, but by shared heartaches and joy experienced together. Each brother played a role in shaping the life of the other.

We wish we could say Kagen’s life was without sorrow. Unfortunately, like all of us, he had his own demons he struggled with. Regardless, he never gave up, and he more often than not extended a welcoming smile. He was generous with his hugs, and he never failed to tell the people he loved, that he loved them. He will forever be remembered and carried in our hearts!

Preceded in death by his infant daughter, Kendall. Survived by his 3 year old son, KJ, loving family, and friends.
