Crawford, Karen Renea Sheppard, age 56, of Christiansburg, VA, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 14, 2010.
Born October 16, 1953 in Roanoke County, VA, she was a Machine operator at Moog in Blacksburg, VA with over thirty years of service. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Reed Sheppard.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Wayne Crawford; her mother, Violet Rena Sheppard; sons, Jon Link, Timmy Link and fiance’ Crystal Zeigler; step-son, Tony Crawford and wife, Heather; sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda Lilly and husband, Stephen, Linda Orange and husband, Marvin; sister-in-law, Linda Hall and husband, Charles; brothers, Larry Sheppard and wife, Barbara, Barry Sheppard and wife, Brenda; grandchildren, T.W. Link, Cody Link and wife, Kayla, Sierra Link, Thor Link, and Jackson Link;
The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at Horne Funeral Home. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Horne Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Atkinson, Rev. Richard Kingrea, and Rev. Scott Souther officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
