Kenneth Frayon “Kenny” Turner of Elliston passed away suddenly at the age of 56 on the evening of July 3rd 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Columbus Frayon Turner, stepfather, William “Billy” Schooler, grandmother, Imogene Woods, uncle, Sammy Sykes, father-in-law, Danny Wickline, and brother-in-law, Jeff Reed. He is survived by his loving wife, Denyse Turner, mother, Patricia Schooler, sisters, Sheena Reed, Vicki Moor and Dreama Schooler, numerous nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Linda Harmon, step mother-in-law, Debbie Wickline, brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Tracy Mills, sons Josh Leech and Joseph Leech along with daughter-in-law, Hillary Leech and beloved grandchildren Brixton Joseph, Sadie Ann, Thornton Michael, Virginia Grace and Hudson Turner.
Kenny was known to be a hard worker in the truck driving industry, delivering for US Foods for the past 21 years. His love of fishing, hunting, motorcycle riding and time well spent with family and loyal canine sidekicks, Charlie, Lucy, Max and Cami will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
Visitation will be held from 1 p.m to 2 p.m. on Friday July 9th at Horne Funeral Home, Christiansburg VA. Memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Rick Collins.
